It is important that students are familiar with their duties prior to arrival at camp. A duty roster should be on display at the camp school.
Staff are expected to supervise duties but not to do the work.
Dormitories

Make beds each morning.

Vacumn the floor daily, vacumn cleaner is to be found in the foyer cupboard.

Ensure clothes, etc., are neatly folded or hung. Nothing is to be left on the floor.

Remember that food and drink are not to be consumed in the dormitory (except water bottles).

Bathroom should be neat with nothing on basins or in showers and all taps turned off.

Turn all lights/fans off when you leave for an activity.
Meal Setters and Servers

At least 15mins before each meal wash hands and report to the dining hall.

Arrange tables and chairs into position.
-
Set tables with knives, forks, spoons, cups and water jugs.

In the morning collect jams, margarine, orange juice and milk from the servery and place on tables.

In the evening collect bread, salt & pepper, water jugs and other requirements from the servery and place on the tables.

Assist in serving meals if needed - please check with the Cook.
Washers and Wipers

After each meal return all re-usable items to the servery e.g bread, pepper etc.

Ensure everyone takes their dishes and scrapes leftovers into the bin then stack dishes in a pile on your table.

Take all dishes from your table into the wash up area and stack into the blue crates ready for the dishwasher.

Wait for the dishwasher to finish then dry dishes and utensils thoroughly.

Stack all clean dishes back onto the servery or shelfs and utensils into the trays.

Wipe down the tables and return to the end of the hall.

Sweep the floor.
M/Tea, Lunch and A/Tea at Camp
a. Duty group to collect all items from the servery and take to either the Gazebo or BBQ area (depends
on group size)
b. At the end return all items to the servery, stack dirty dishes in blue crates ready for the dishwasher.
c. Wait for the dishwasher to finish then dry dishes and utensils thoroughly.
d. Stack all clean dishes back onto the servery or shelves and utensils into the trays.
Take away M/Tea, Lunch and A/Tea
a. Duty group to collect all items from the servery and take to the bus.
b. At the end return all items to the servery, stack dirty dishes in blue crates ready for the dishwasher.
c. Wait for the dishwasher to finish then dry dishes and utensils thoroughly.
d. Stack all clean dishes back onto the servery or shelves and utensils into the trays.
Before Camp School Departure

Check all cupboards and under beds etc for personal items.

Put any rubbish in the bin.

Strip the coloured sheet from the bed you slept in and place in the foyer.

Ensure you leave the Camp School pillow on the bed on top of the folded blanket at the aisle end of your bed.

Vacuum the carpets.
