CAMP SCHOOL MANAGER'S ROLE

The Camp School manager is responsible to the Department of Education & Training, WA.

Apart from general duties (including camp bookings, programs, requisitions, community relations, health and safety awareness, liaison with other camps) and domestic duties (including administration and maintenance, supervision of domestic services and staff accounting) the Camp Manager has the following specific duties.

  1. Supervision of arrival and dispersal of groups.
  2. Ensuring satisfactory discipline and standards of behaviour.
  3. Assist the Camp Leader to implement the camp program.
  4. Provide Principals and Group Leaders all the necessary information regarding the camp school and its hinterland.
  5. Arranging excursions and activities for the schools on request.
  6. Facilitating specific educational activities relevant to group's program.
