Chapman Valley Fishing Park
Offers a unique relaxing recreational fishing opportunity to anyone wanting to try their hand at fishing. Costs: 30 & 6 staff entry $7.50/st includes rod hire, bait & bucket. $5/adult no rod.

Ellendale Pool
Scenic picnic spot with swimming allowed in the pool

Greenough Cemetery
Ideal for cemetery work. Needs to have some relevance to student's work.

Greenough Hamlet
Self Guided tour. Teachers with the group at no charge. Cost - Students & Adults $4.00 

Greenough Pioneer Museum
Home of district pioneers, built 1860. Excellent view of the past way of life. Cost - Students $2.50 (GST free)

Lamp light tours evening activity

Greenough River Mouth
Ideal for science excursions and reef ramble. Excellent 17km nature trail walk. 

Greenough Wildlife Park
Variety of animals (snake show, crocodile, kangaroo, fox, birds etc). A nice place where you can touch and feed the animals. 
Cost -  $5.00per head (GST free)

Gunnado Farm (Walkaway) 
Two hours of activities - Learn about Aboriginal culture through the following activities

Cultural walk trail, traditional nature resources, Aboriginal tucker, artefacts, arts & crafts, story telling, spear & boomerang throwing Costs: $12/student  $6/adult includes lunch

Kalbarri (camp school run day excursion)
A two hour one way drive. Possible to have an early breakfast to make the trip worthwhile. Please contact your bus driver with regards to the extra cost of this trip due to the extra kilometres travelled. Includes short walk to the famous "Natures Window" Lookout. Lunch on foreshore, possible swim. Walks to River Mouth & Red Bluff Lookouts. Could include 45-60min Mushroom circuit walk then visit to Rainbow Jungle.

*Kalbarri  Rainbow Jungle
A very scenic bird park set amongst tropical  gardens with a raised viewing area of Gantheaume Bay. $4.50/hd 

*Kalbarri (private operator day excursion)

1. *4 ways hike canoe adventure (Kalbarri Adventure Tours)
An experienced leader will guide you through the gorges to a magnificent lunch location. Once in the gorge enjoy a paddle along the Murchison river. A very scenic and energetic day.

2. *Lucky Bay - sandboarding & overnight camping
A one hour drive to meet Frank (Kalbarri Safari Tours). He will take you 4 wheel driving then sand boarding at the super bowl (largest sand dune in the west) Chance for a swim & snorkelling before preparing the camping grounds & dinner. Frank provides the sand boards, tents, swags, lunch, dinner & breakfast. We can meet you the next morning in Kalbarri for a hike through the gorges. Great two day adventure.
 
*Port Gregory - Lynton Convict Hiring Depot and Sanford House 
Located at Port Gregory. The ruins still stand and the house is being restored. An interesting time in our history. Donation to Northampton Historical Society

*Riverside Sanctuary (Kalbarri area)
Farm Stay Accommodation & guided tours 110kms North of Geraldton

Daily activities include walk trials, slide show, indigenous history, biodiversity activities and farm tours.
Cost: Full day (6hrs) $15/head    Half day (3hrs)  $10/head

Great activity to learn about the breeding and lifestyle of Seahorses. Cost $5/st

Walkaway Station Museum
The museum is in an old railway building and looks at transport, natural resources and military history. Open Tuesday - Sunday.
