Abrolhos Islands 
Educational eco charters to the Abrolhos Islands. See 7 ecological features of our pristine Abrolhos Islands. As we cruise students will be encouraged to snorkel with sea lions, hand feed Samson Fish, view coral gardens.

Also fish to catch dinner and walk around a nursery of breeding sea birds. Also upon request guided tours capturing the gruesome tale of the Batavia. Includes video and DVD presentations and all snorkelling gear provided.

Art Gallery
Houses a permanent collection of art work. Some special touring exhibitions. Student workshops are also available at a cost.

Cathedral Tour
A guided tour through the historic St Francis Xavier's Cathedral. Separate visits can be arranged for groups interested in just looking or having a guided tour studying the history.  $2.00/head

Crayfish Live Export Shed
An excellent guided tour showing the path of live 'crays' as they are unloaded off the boats through to packaging for export. Shoes and hat required. Available from mid November till the end of June. 
$5.00p/head including adults

Fire Station
A look over the station and at the fire fighting equipment. This tour is best for younger students. Obviously dependent on their being no fires at the time.

Harbour Cruise & Seal Watching
An educational boat tour of the Geraldton marina and harbour, pointing out key features such as the local sea-lion colony, ship loading facilities, cray and seafood processing facilities and other nautical and land based sites. Depends on availability 
Abrolhos Isaland Charters Cost: 2009 $360/group +GST

HMAS SYDNEY Memorial Visit this Worldwide known memorial, read the story of the Sydney, Look at the artifacts, the statue and enjoy the magnificent 360o view of Geraldton. 1/2 hr tours available $1 coin donation/student

Maritime Museum
An interesting and well laid out display of local shipwrecks, particularly the Batavia. A video of the Batavia history plays continuously. Worksheets and further videos are available at the Camp School. 
Cost $3.00 per student for assisted visit (includes GST)

Point Moore Lighthouse

Police Station
View the state of the Art Police Station and gain an insight into the workings and organisation behind the scenes.
No charge

Queen's Park Theatre
Guided tour arranged. This tour is dependent on the theatre not being used for rehearsals and they now charge. Cost: ?
 

Radio Mama
Located at the PCYC. See how it all works behind the scenes. Small groups only due to space restrictions. Good cross match with Climbing Wall and/or Boxercise.

RSL Memorabilia Tour
At Birdwood House. It is named after Lt General Birdwood who was given command of the forces by Australia and New Zealand and at Gallipoli. 1/2 hr tours available $1/st 

STS Leeuwin (Sail Training Ship)
Half day and full day trips aboard this magnificent 3 masted sailing ship. Usually makes 2 trips to Geraldton April and October

Victoria Hospital & Old Gaol Tour
The Bill Sewell complex has a varied history. Built in the early days of settlement as a hospital to serve the Victoria District. It later became part or the Old Gaol. The Old Gaol was built in 1858 and served Geraldton for 130yrs. 1/2 hr tours available $1 donation/st


Whale Watching
A 4hr whale watching experience, spent cruising with migrating Humpback and Southern Right Whales. Available August to November.
Need to check availability and cost on request.

Also during this time possible to see whales during Kalbarri Coastal Gorge Walk whihc can be GCS staff guided.
